Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Lead Engineer, Electronic

years.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead DSP engineers in the design of novel DSP algorithms (and
known tried and true ones too) for communication systems and EW
applications.
- Guide DSP engineers in the execution of DSP trade studies and
optimization of signal processing and machine learning algorithms
for deployment on FPGAs and GPUs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of software and
hardware engineers to develop software defined radios; and direct
DSP team in the engagement with the software & hardware team,
including the implementation of DSP techniques into software and
firmware and integration activities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong, demonstrated leadership of DSP engineers in the comms
and/or EW sectors to include technical and programmatic leadership
aspects - demonstrated ability to deliver innovative algorithms and
work with program management, software and firmware groups to
deliver compelling capabilities.
- Strong experience with DSP implementation for embedded devices
and/or software defined radios.
- Strong knowledge of Python and MATLAB. Experience with CUDA or
GPU accelerated frameworks like cuSignal is preferred.
- Experience with embedded devices, including FPGA, Nvidia
Jetson, and Software Defined Radios.
- Familiar with deep learning algorithms. Experience with ML
frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is a plus.
- Familiar with wireless communication standards (Bluetooth,
3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, SINCGARS, MUOS, etc.).
- Excellent at balancing multiple projects at any given time
and/or managing a larger team for a larger program.
- Enthusiastic about both working with a team and executing some
work individually (depending on program scope).
- Experience with Electronic Warfare systems.
- Possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security
clearance.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Defense, national security, or aerospace domain familiarity
through industry or education.
- BSEE with exposure to Digital Signal Processing.
- MSEE with an emphasis on Digital Signal Processing is
preferred.
- Demonstrated larger team staff leadership (10+ DSP
engineers).
- Demonstrated cost/schedule management of technical staff and
interfacing with program management.US Salary Range: $180,000 -
$273,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on
a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary
only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to)
work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or
