years.The Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer (Mechanical) is a
high-profile, cross-functional position that plays an integral role
in enabling development and production flow of Anduril's critical
supply base. You will work in close coordination with internal
engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing departments as
well as directly with suppliers to execute effective, creative and
smart supply chain strategies to achieve production goals.WHAT
YOU'LL DO:
- Own and manage specific categories/subcategories (one or more
of PCB/A, batteries, harnesses, avionics, sensors/RF products,
metals, plastics and composites) to execute to supplier production
(NPI to full production) strategies across Anduril's business
lines; is a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall
Category strategy. Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership,
proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and
courage.
- Vets Suppliers' production capabilities, factory layout,
facilities, workforce for supplier inclusion in Approved Supplier
List.
- Supports Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in ensuring
Suppliers' understanding and adherence to the criteria for Part
Quality set by SQE.
- Owns bringing up new production tooling & lines, development at
Supplier locations as needed, at Supplier sites to ensure supplier
materials, processes & tools are capable of meeting Product
Performance, Quality (criteria set by SQE) & Demand
requirements.
- Owns capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up at
Supplier.
- Establishes and drives process performance and controls (SPC)
reviews at Supplier.
- Identifies and drives product & process improvements, and
factory layout optimization at Supplier sites to lower part cost,
reduce supply risk, eliminate potential defects, and improve cycle
time over the product lifecycle.
- Supports SQE with Root Cause task force at Anduril by working,
in tandem with Supply Chain team, with Suppliers, and responsible
for closing the loop of Root Cause Corrective/Preventative Actions
at Supplier.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical
engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in supplier quality and
industrialization within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with specific category technical expertise, as
applicable, PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, SMT processing, CAD,
GD&T.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of quality systems, standards, and
certifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
skills.
- Ideal candidate can obtain and maintain a U.S. TS
clearance.
- Ability to travel extensively to supplier locations as
needed.US Salary Range: $142,000 - $213,000 USDThe salary range for
this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation
factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may
vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education
and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
