Fund.We're looking for someone to join our team and help build out
the Computer Science and AI curriculum that is at the heart of our
mission and product. As a Curriculum Designer, you will have
ownership over different courses and be responsible for designing
and developing instructional materials. This will involve
partnering with various collaborators to create that content. This
is a crucial role, and we're looking for someone who is curious,
knowledgeable of computer science principles, and has a
demonstrated passion for learning and teaching new CS and AI
content.Responsibilities & Duties
- Work with other content experts to develop high-quality,
engaging, and level appropriate content for students.
- Own concept-to-market life cycle of student learning
experiences by developing lesson objectives, exercises,
instructional materials (slides, videos, "worksheets", etc.),
assessments, projects, and lesson plans for each unit.
- Work with learning design experts to ensure content aligns with
pedagogical best practices.
- Work with CS standards experts to build rigorous content that
engages students and teachers, and aligns with state standards and
local contexts.
- Interact with teachers to best understand student, teacher, and
classroom needs.
- Collaborate with Teacher PD and Product teams to ensure
alignment of student content with teacher PD and resources, and
with tools in the Kira platform that support teaching and
learning.Skills & Experience
- A deep understanding of computer science and AI principles and
ability to communicate that to a K-12 audience.
- Experience creating and delivering problem-, or challenge-based
learning in a K-12 classroom.
- Preferred experience in K-12 classroom teaching Computer
Science or AI.
- Preferred experience developing AI curriculum.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; you can
patiently, professionally and effectively communicate with a
diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and
continents.
- Nimble and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a
fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
- A positive, can-do attitude. You're not deterred by minor
setbacks and are able to swiftly overcome ambiguity.
- You believe feedback is a gift. You can thoughtfully share
feedback to others as needed, and you can receive feedback and grow
from it.
- Will consistently contribute to a culture of inclusion where

- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace programs.$90,000 -
$120,000 a yearCompetitive salary and equity package in a
