Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder Specialist - Inpatient
(Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for inpatient services accurately
Abstract coded data into the abstracting system in a timely
manner
Ensure compliance with California and National reporting
requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in inpatient acute care coding
Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding
High school diploma/GED required; relevant associate or bachelor's
degree preferred
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), RHIT, or RHIA required upon
hire
